Does Your Pilates Equipment Meet The Required Safety Standard?
Did you know that Pilates equipment, including Pilates reformers in the UK, Australia & many other countries should meet commercial level ISO Standards in order to be used in Pilates Studios & clubs.
All Align-Pilates Commercial Pilates Reformers have passed independent testing to ISO20957-1 (Class S). This standard specifies general safety requirements (and test methods) for stationary training equipment including large equipment – like pilates machines – for use in training areas of organisations such as sport associations, educational establishments, hotels, sports halls, clubs, rehabilitation centres, and studios.
Several Pilates equipment brands are unaware of the requirement for studio Pilates reformers to meet this standard. To pass such requirements all Pilates equipment must go through rigorous safety and cycle testing, that many Pilates reformers for sale would simply not pass! For the welfare of your clients and to ensure conformity with health, safety, and insurance requirements it is crucial to ensure your studio Pilates reformers conform to the required standards.
